Joseph Lenaghen is from Long Island, New York.  He joined the Church while a student at Gallaudet.  He served a mission to the Deaf in Arizona and Colorado.  He has a BA degree in Communications from Gallaudet University.  He has held many callings in the Church, including Priesthood instructor, Gospel Doctrine and Gospel Essentials teacher and Sunday School President.  He and his wife, Jennifer, have also been team substitute Seminary teachers at the high school in their home town of Malad, Idaho.  They have been married for 38 years  and are the parents to five boys and have two grandsons.  Joe has been a teacher for ASL Adult Education since 2023.

Our goal is to help you draw closer to our Savior Jesus Christ and make meaningful connections with your peers. We have created this website to help accomplish that goal and to introduce you to the institute council!  Come and play a part by helping us gather Deaf Israel!
